Sediment CATCH Baskets
Don't use these! Flat screens like this are detrimental to the life of your oil and will negatively affect the quality of your food. These screens trap food directly on top of the heating elements where it continues to burn and break down your oil. Do you really want to cook your delicious food directly on top of all those burnt food particles??
This is the right way to do it. Our Sediment Catch Baskets are correctly designed to capture and hold the sediment BELOW THE HEATING ELEMENTS where it doesn't break down your oil, far below where you are cooking your food.
Just set in place before service and capture most of the material that normally accumulates at the bottom of your fryers. And guess what? The handle is at the back so it doesn't interfere with your cooking. Simply lift them out and empty before filtering or draining your fryers - it's just that easy.
